Karen Payton has been working with words for over 20 years – writing them, editing them and teaching people about them. She has experience in many industries including publishing, finance, pharmaceuticals, health care, IT, manufacturing and academia. Karen has held senior communications roles with several large organizations and has taught English and Report Writing at George Brown College.
Karen owns and operates Bright Communications, an agency specializing in plain language communication as well as Bright Publishing, providing self-publishing support for authors and companies wanting to publish outside traditional publishing houses.
